Apparently when queueing for a team game, like 3v3, one of my (random) teammates never connected and quit immediately but i still lose elo? -_- And also my team was all random while the other 3 seemed like pre-made in a ranked game. Seems like an advantage.

You want to max obscured unit alpha, but atm it relies on Shadow settings being set on anything but off (medium being lowest). Would be nice if they added a "low" setting for shadows where it only applies for distinguishing units/crates behind objects

How do I select all bills on fire pit? Normally I shit click the number and it selects all bills and wp then I shift wp to remove them and get bills of fire pit. Also when I drag box around military I don’t know how to deselect my wp so they aren’t fighting. And I guess Aztec can no longer get treasures on a map with only animals, just played Yukon and I’m basically screwed from the get go. Idk how to host a ranked game either I really don’t like this version at all, it’s ugly and the ui is really bad

What I don't understand is how crappy and complicated they have done in the multiplayer interface.

If I want to write to a friend in private chat or invite him to a game, I have to minimize the game to Steam in order to do so. For the love of God, if only they had to change the matchmaking in ranked and leave it similar to how ESO was.

My first experiences have been terrible.

I pre-downloaded the game, and then had to down load for another hour on day of release.
'yet when I open game it says I only have 7 GB downloaded and can attempt to play game.
I did play a game on low settings, it was very very blurry, like fuzzy.... like I took off my glasses.
I played a historical battle on full settings but seemed to lag a little.

MAJOR PROBLEMS

you have to have an X box account to make a Clan symbols are not allowed apparently
So I lost our FFA clan
You cannot message friends
you cannot check out other players home cities from game lobby
you cannot leave game lobby once in it.
cannot check clan page from game lobby


Cannot see how many or if units are garrisoned in buildings.
Inca houses do not provide full population without having town centers
clicking on units hard to see how many one has selected.

one improvement I like is that one can request to join a clan, instead of having to find a member to invite.

How does a game company get so much wrong on what was already working fine.
I kinda want a refund.


EDIT : and the game selection lobby reloads so fast you can not scroll down to veiw games.... lol (in a sad way)

hmm I was in a ranked match and my game just randomly crashed. This happened sometimes too in TAD; I just hope this won't happen too frequently in DE

My personal criticism so far;

I dont manage to tell the HP of units/buildings.

Today when playing against japan he had an army of probably about 40 units with yumi and ashi. I had no idea whether it was 20 yumi 20 ashi or 30 yumi 10 ashi or 10 ashi 30 yumi etc, I just dont see it.

The multiplayer interface is absolutely horrible, the original aoe3 is so much better.

Your nickname is your current steam name which means people can change it, I rather be locked into one name so you can recognize each other.

Some bugs/balance things I feel meh about.

So far im okay about the game, not too happy not too disapointed, but definitly hoping for some changes, especially the multiplayer interface. Cant even whisper and check homecities etc freely etc come on now

first one makes the Aztec age 1 a bit better considering the convert guardian nerf (he can no longer tame animals)

second one gives what seems like a stronger effect to the previously useless shipment that let Axe Riders convert guardians

third one is strange, don't know what that replaced, new card effect isn't even that strong, kinda whack
