Changes to old civs
Changes to old civs
Can someone with access to the game give more information on changes to the old civs?
I saw that Dutch saw some changes, e.g. 5 bank limit from the start and the bank boost card increasd to +20%. The French age IV cuir card also does not affect train time anymore. Do you know about further changes like this? Did they do something with Germans after they gave the Swedish all the nice merc opportunities?

Re: Changes to old civs
It's just EP9. I'm not sure if beta 4 has been implemented yet but I expect it to.

Re: Changes to old civs
ports have 85f vills lol
Re: Changes to old civs
Tbh looking through the swedeish cards I think germany will still be the better merc civ. The swede merc gimmick is a few more infinite merc shipment ( 6 infinite mams sounds very fun) and that the shipments also unlock them at the saloon and there doesnt seem to be any upgrades for them so im calling it a meh. Funnily though fusiliers are now french

Re: Changes to old civs
Its ep9 for the most part but not for sioux and porto if i am not wrong.
Re: Changes to old civs
Lakota start with 5 vills and can ship 4 in age 1 now. Eco teepees are removed. I guess that’s a nice compromise instead of starting with 6 vills directly and shipping 3.

Just checked: 700w 700c, 180hp sepoy. Rest seems unchanged from EP including rajput buffs.WickedCossack wrote:Can anyone inform on any India changes? Im pretty sure I saw 180hp sepoy and someone mentioned a 700w crate, anything else to look out for? Many thanks!

Re: Changes to old civs
lol i just realised they removed advanced arsenal, that makes it more interesting. Yeah I guess swede is the more sustained merc civ which is actually interesting since its probably the first.Kawapasaka wrote:twitch.tv/mensvitaminshelln00 wrote:whats the swede merc play looking like right now?
Re: Changes to old civs
this vid mentions a few other changes. Ports get a card letting them get TP upgrades for free, and railroad in age 2. Spice Trade is reworked. Old Han Reforms is reworked. Grens have grenade launchers.
I wonder who will figure out the new meta first and wipe the floor with everyone for a week or two.
Re: Changes to old civs
Most of the stuff is EP , besides the grens change, forts(rebuildable forts ftw) and the age 2 railroad thing. Tbh most of them sounds great.

what about pet tigers? and extra tags?
Re: Changes to old civs
I just realised that the asian civs wont have access to the new grens....kinda sad they would be great to a chinese comp and make french an intersting alternative to the british intervention game
Re: Changes to old civs
Hmm the russian dueling school is no longer a team card, I dont know how to feel about that tbh
Re: Changes to old civs
Thx for giving further information!
The Russian dueling school card no longer being a team card sounds sad. Many other changes look thought through. Explorer being able to build forts is good.

Re: Changes to old civs
i don't think it's necessarily broken as that number applies to imperial age and requires sending like 4 cards + building 2 TCs with explorerChallenger_Marco wrote:Ports can have 12 tcs now, nice brooken.

I gotta say though the new grens are fantastic, they are still heavy infantry but I think I like this change better than just removing heavy infantry tag tbh

Re: Changes to old civs
I don't really see the point of the house of Bragança change : Ports were already strong on ATP maps and low tier on standard low to/no to maps.
ESOC : came for the game, stayed for the drama.
