Re: TheViper
It wouldn't surprise me if there was a sort of official or unofficial direction or discourse from one party to another encouraging Viper to stream aoe3 perhaps more than he, himself, without any external factors, be inclined to.
It also would not surprise me that bilingual Viper used somewhat vague English when referring to his streaming itinerary which, being a professional streamer, he personally planned out.
Mostly it doesn't matter I'm just having a little harmless fun and if someone thinks a little harmless fun is braindead they might be being a little braindead ngl.

If he was he would legally have to disclose it, so yea he’s not. Now his org could have asked him to or something like that.Cometk wrote:This discourse about Viper being secretly paid by Microsoft to play AoE3:DE is beyond braindead

AoE2 has been stealing AoE3 content creation for years.

On Steam just 379 hours, but on Xbox 360 it was way higher than that because I would keep it running 24 hours a day for weeks on endCometk wrote:How many days played you got? Re: TheViper
I also interpreted this as that he scheduled some time for aoe3de since realistically 98% of his subs are there for aoe2 content.

Re: TheViper
Aoe2 pro scene is decently big so not surprising. Prizepool for the S-tier in 2020:
NAC3(30k), HC3(50k), RedBullCup I(20k) and II(30k), BOA2(20k), DMWorldCup(10k), AOElompics(7k), KOTD3(50k) and upcoming NationsCup(30k)

Re: TheViper
Anyway, he said a couple hours ago that he was enjoying aoe3. I think it is partly due to the fact that he does not have the same pressure to win with aoe3.

Re: TheViper
I think 10k is a big reward for a non-competitive fun mode. To me it's a bit too high for my expectations. I had no idea it was a common prizepoll in aoe2...0nni wrote:Aoe2 pro scene is decently big so not surprising. Prizepool for the S-tier in 2020:

As for the Viper... I don't think it's far fetched to say he's being paid to stream it... It's very common for streamers to get paid for this type of advertisement. And maybe that phrase was just a slip up, which could happen to anyone. But then again, it's impossible to say for sure if he is.
