Sorry, I'm looking for recorded game files (.age3yrec) specifically, not videos.

I was supposed to but didn't realise that the game didn't auto-number new recs anymore, just overwrites your most recent one ://////

Who knew they could make it worse than legacy with regards to overwriting recs

I released a solution for this yesterday https://github.com/Animosity/AOE3ReplayBoss , you can run this before your gaming session and it will scoop up your multiplayer replays and put them into a subdirectory with timestamps. Hopefully soon, will also name the files dynamically with the players/mapname, but need to pull in some help for that.

Wait, when I played that league event recently, it didn't save only 1 rec. I even posted 2 recs at the same time. Seemed to me like it worked the same as legacy.

From what I know, recorded games on DE are named in this format by default: "Record Game YYYY-MM-DD HH-mm-ss.age3Yrec"

Anyway, I have got a few recs from some casual games with my friends on Day 1 before the first hotfix (and yes, four straight losses... ).

I hope it helps with whatever you are investigating.

I'm pretty sure they're just named "Recorded Game.age3Yrec" for me. Seems like a bug if you're getting dates.

Are you sure? Since I am getting something like this in my AOE3DE savegame folder...

i've been playing matchmaking with record game option and none of those games got recorded :/

May I ask why you need recorded games from the old patch??
