I think the likes speak to the subject of fitting

You can't consider the cost by the absolute value like that really. You have (~1600 + 900)/6 = 417 gold per mam for the age four. You pay (~1000 + 1000)/4 = 500 gold per mam for the age 3 shipment. Paying an extra 83 gold seems reasonable for the privilege of having an age 4 unit in age 3. Seem pretty balanced to me. Maybe the age 4 shipment should cost another 100 gold.88_Baron_Rojo_88 wrote:Yeah and u have 2 more mamelukes in IV in addition to being infinite at a lower price than in III age. hmmmmchris1089 wrote:Have you considered that you are getting an age 4 unit in age 3? Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
The card is still limited by the amount of XP you can generate and its not like the only card you will send in age 4. XP is kind of a shadow limit on how much cards you can send in particular time.
Fine line to something great is a strange change.
Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
Really? How much xp does each card cost? How does this limit your unit composition? Idk exactly and I'm not here to defend the current cost of the age 4 shipment, but to point out that the current 4 mams for 1000 gold in age 3 seems reasonable and balanced.88_Baron_Rojo_88 wrote:Mate the problem is the card is INFINITTEEEE for this price is a madneessschris1089 wrote:You can't consider the cost by the absolute value like that really. Mods can close this thread if they want.
Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
If 4 Mameluke Shipment is too weak, maybe it could be changed to 5 Mams for 1250G.
Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
They added Sweden as a Merc civ with upgrades etc on them, so it's reasonable that they have such unique shipment in age4, imo.88_Baron_Rojo_88 wrote:Mate the problem is the card is INFINITTEEEE for this price is a madneessschris1089 wrote:You can't consider the cost by the absolute value like that really. @Rohbrot
Well but then they should have given them sth fitting like as far as i know sweden has literally no historic connection to egypt. Like maybe infinte 10 black rider age 4?

Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
the swedes basically have nearly every mercs as a potential choice right?
I guess if we stretch it a bit, mamlukes for swedes is a ref to that time Charles the 12th basically took a long vacation outside of Constantinople to get otto to fight russia
if we go by history, then I want the french to get mamlukes first before we get rid of swedes

Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
1200 gold for 5 mameluke is the way.
Re: The return of the shipment of 5 mamelukes?
4mams is fine, both in sheer value and in practical use. Otto now also have better Spahi and Ports barely need the shipment anymore.

Atleast the 4 mam shipment should cost 800 coin tbh. The price wasn't reduced accordingly...Efraín wrote:1 mameluke = 400 Coin

You pay 1000, the shipment value is low or the unit should cost 450-500 coin.
5 ronin: Yeah baby.
5 mamelukes: oh no, iam a cryer, they tank so much, buah buah nerf nerf.
