I think the people that made these clips don't understand the gameplay.
In an ideal world the devs would actually play the game and issues like these would get solved fast. Isn't that what ES did?

ES players were incredibly bad with the expection of Swinger and Mr_Milo (who joined much later around the end of TWC).

Even Swinger was bad, of the original team they only had basically 1 competent player (Hope)

I don't think it's about devs, that are skilled in the game up to a point to make good balance decisions. Rather it's about devs that actually play the game so that each major patch doesn't come with a new user interface / unit control bug.
