Home city bug not fixed in latest patch

In the recent update patch notes they mentioned "Fixed a crash in the Home City code that could trigger when shutting down the game". This issue still hasn't been fixed. It has happened to two players already when entering the home city in game the game just completely crashes. Whats the point of putting that into the patch notes if it hasn't even been fixed?

tbh that patch note doesn't sound related, it says "when shutting down the game", not when entering homecity in game.
I imagine it was fixing some issue with saving/uploading/syncing homecity data upon shutdown.
