[Balance] Carbine Cavalry viability

Hello all,

I made some calculations in Excel to better gauge how strong or rather how weak Carbine Cavalry is for USA right now.
You can view it here:

Of course numbers don't tell every thing, but seeing as how general consensous right now is that Carbine Cav sucks and the metrics shown here are showing just that, I think they need to be buffed, atleast to bring up to par with Zamburak, which are already considered weak.
I suggest dropping the coin cost from 80 to 70, which would go a long way.

Feel free to comment how you would change it or tell which massive blunder I made by overlooking an important aspect.

Zambs arent weak. However if you compare it with ruyters they do seem weak

USA already has the strongest musk and streltsy, so the carbine Cavalry shouldn't be strong.

Alright I'd agree that Zambs aren't all that bad, considering they cost 1 population and are quite cheap.

Just because USA has strong musks and skirms, they shouldn't be forced to rely only on those units. Also I'd say the musks are debatable, as they are quite expensive. If state milita gets nerfed the civ could be left without any good units.

This so much. Similar to Swedes, there is just no reason to build a stable.

?
Ruyters have shit 10% rr, zambs 30%, they're pretty much equivalent, except for the royal guard up. Ruyters do cost less.

USA have 10 consulate goon card and x2 8vet Apache card. You can send those cards while making pure militia and that's your skirm-goon composition. If you run thin on anticav then can add some carbine cavalry. Carbine cav do have a 25% attack upgrade in age4, which combined with the extra range and extra rate of fire make them a viable anticav dpser. Maybe they could benefit from the royal guard up.

For hand cav it is a bit different since there is only a uhlan card. In 1v1 tho that+regular huss should be enough, considering your other 2/3 of army are full upgradable and USA have gatlings as anti infantry anyway. Also there is a chance to get stradiots or hackapells at the saloon.

Hakkapelit is a good unit, I'd say better than huss but I don't expect many to agree on that. For sure, sweden has enough cav ups.

I mean if you combine ruy with carbines, carbines seem shit

A large part of the reason Zambs are good is because they have incredibly good upgrade cards.

I don't think including Amalgamation in the cost calculation is fair. It is a very niche upgrade that is seldom researched; the majority of the time you only get Placer Mines. This makes Ruyters seem a lot better than they actually are, especially since banks don't receive any upgrades but also supply the majority of your coin.

Sweden actually has one of the best huss in the game.

That true, but there is no reason to build hussars. You would need to send 4 upgrade cards to make the hussar that strong. But the opportunity costs are usually too high, because caro+cannon is simply better.
