If anyone wants to see the layouts of the new maps (TPs, water etc) I've uploaded them here:

The Niger Delta looks extremely similar to Dhaka, but less whales.

Re: New 15 African maps

Re: New 15 African maps
Now we will able to lame water AND tp without land, this is the begining of kynesis era!
Re: New 15 African maps
Looks like there are several maps with lakes containing fish but no water flag. How do you think that will play out? Will they be used or mostly ignored in favor of land only?
Re: New 15 African maps

Re: New 15 African maps
If i remember correctly, 11 new maps in qs. Manchuria is deleted and african maps are added in except atlas, horn, niger river and tripolitania.Abrahamburgerlincon wrote:Fifteen maps is a lot, I wonder how many of them will make it to the ranked map pool
And new maps would have double chance to be selected.

because it seems to be an impossible task for them to have 2 trading posts spawn in that map.

Re: New 15 African maps
Some of these maps look a bit too interesting but fun nonetheless. Gold Coast is Dhaka without whales, but it has a water TP route that essentially replaces whales in that regard and which cannot be contested by the land player. Moreover, the land player will not have a land tp to his disposal for his economy or for trade monopoly. Broken? Time will tell. Quicksearch is going to be a versatile experience if ziper's take is correct.
Re: New 15 African maps
Playing japs or sweden literally 90% of the time. Now if I predict correct, atleast one of the african civs is going to be broken AF which could make it 3 civs. Interesting times, indeed.Mr_Bramboy wrote:Some of these maps look a bit too interesting but fun nonetheless.
