good haggling. Bazaar skills id say.callentournies wrote:all in all i'll give these slimy shenanigans a 6/10. start off by demanding the impossible (such as allow africa civs) then "compromise" by banning two kaiser mains and one breeze main (because africa civs are not real civs, everyone knows this by now).
well done!

I dont understand why we dont let Garja decide all the rules. Just seems so much easier.
Edit: I just decided i wont watch this unless you ban USA aswell. So you have to take that into account.

What are the odds that this match will actually be played until a winner is found...

Legacy tourney rules, can use one of the map pools tooturnuva wrote:Totally agree with you.don_artie wrote:winning or losing games has no result on personality
@Kaiserklein what kind of civ pick should we go for? In Africa tourney we locked our civs on particular maps like in egctv blindpick series without knowing our opponents civ, it reduces civ counter, if you want we can also go for the classic esoc counterpick system where loser picks first and first mu is based on agreement.
About map pool, would be good to have 1 no tp map 2 water and 2 land map if bo5, or can do 3 land and water map among with 1 no tp If bo7

Re: Breezebrothers vs Kaiserklein match
I'd rather see a match with all legacy civs rather than one where both players can not play their main ones.
No Africa and no Sweden plz though.

ESOC : came for the game, stayed for the drama.

not really, since Africa civs are completely broken, while France and Germany are balanced civs. It's just a handicap to Kaiser since they're his mains, so good on him for accepting.gibson wrote:That actually seems like a (relatively) fair compromise.turnuva wrote:No Africa/ports and no France/Germany, that works?Kaiserklein wrote:Well idk what rules we're going for but I won't play against african civs anyway. so why are you asking to ban france/germany then? i thought the logic was to ban his top civs in exchange for banning yoursturnuva wrote:And ports / Ethiopia aren't my main civs rightSquamiger wrote:not really, since Africa civs are completely broken, while France and Germany are balanced civs. It's just a handicap to Kaiser since they're his mains, so good on him for accepting.Show hidden quotes

If anything its more of a handicap that he's losing 2 OP civs and 1 good civ while kaiser is losing 2 good civs.Squamiger wrote:not really, since Africa civs are completely broken, while France and Germany are balanced civs. It's just a handicap to Kaiser since they're his mains, so good on him for accepting.gibson wrote:That actually seems like a (relatively) fair compromise.Show hidden quotes

U assume kaiser can't click things here. Re: Breezebrothers vs Kaiserklein match
Hi. It would be really cool if you hit a deal!
Whether we support one or the other, everyone learns by watching everyone's games and therefore from both of you.
Even if the simple confrontation on a series of games is unlikely to end your conflict, surprise everyone and maintain only a healthy rivalry!
You two enjoy high level games .. if you manage to bury the hatchet and maintain a healthy rivalry, you (and those who support you too) will put positive energy into the game and not negative energy into the trashtalk .. And the general level of the game would improve frankly. Likewise if you manage to maintain only a healthy rivalry and to "collaborate" (I'm afraid that word is too strong or that I am candid) to take up game problems such as the balance of the units. .. or whatever .. a healthy rivalry will give you more legitimacy.
The outcome of the match does not matter, a match won at a time T may not be at time T + 1, everyone knows that. So just' enjoy!
And as don_artie said winning or losing games has no result on personality, but do not use the pretext of this series of games to bury the hatchet, yes!
We already live in a crappy world, let's take it out of a game where everyone wants to have fun.

This is what gives rise to drama. I mean let them just sort it out. Both are adults. Like why try to act like this is an actual sportsmanship-like rivalry rather than a huge accumulation of shitposts in the first place? It's not like anything will be resolved once we have a winner

I mean... it's really upto them to bury the hatchet. The match itself is irrelevant.jesus3 wrote:doubtprinceofcarthage wrote: Both are adults.
