I am going to take some time to tell a bit of my story regarding this topic.

A year ago when the game released I knew nothing of the competitive scene, I was a mere campaign player back in late 2000s. I get the news that AOE 3 DE will be released and I was immedietly hyped to buy the game.

Then out of my hype I searched for some old videos of guys like interjection to remember the game, Aussie's youtube channel got into my recommendation videos and I cannot thank enough it did!

I started watching all his content and was anticipating every single video! Then twitch streaming started, I started playing multiplayer for the first time with my friends and had MEGA fun, his videos helped me improve MASSIVELY on my game.

And while after some time as I got way better I stopped watching most of his content which was intended for begginer players I pretty much started watching pros on twitter and ALL the tournaments to improve on my game.

All in all I cannot thank enough Aussie for the free videos he provided to pull someone like me in the playerbase (Even though you muted me once in your chat when I called you a Sweden lamer! It was just once! You know I have nothing but respect for you!).. I am sure he attarcted a lot of people like me.. so yea if it was not for him hundreds of people would not be playing the game!

Thank you Aussie and good luck in your future in AOE 4, even if I am not watching anymore I just know that you will succeed even more.

Cuz of fat nOeL. These type of threads create dramas, more spicy the dramas more the viewers. Eventually some of them transform into paying ESOC subscribers and youtube watchers. = More revenue = nOeL can avoid more taxes. After paltry $525 prize pool which is actually less than donated amount on stream for EPL3, I am convinced this whole site is now just a big scam for nOeL to avoid taxes.
