Lol, 7 new aztec cards. Good to see they haven't learned they should stop constantly adding random stuff and instead fix the game.

The 1 wp half age up time card will be super broken

As soon as the preupdate came out, I warned that that shipment had to be deleted or changed, but the mains azzys gave me a kick in the ass.

i think 5wp has been needed for a long time
Puma Spearmen become Champion Jaguar Prowl Knights
Coyote Runners become Champion Eagle Runner Knights
Otontin Slingers become Champion Arrow Knights.
When defeated, Villagers transform into the Warrior unit obtainable from the Call the People Ceremony at the Community Plaza
im certain that 100 mace becoming 100 upgraded arrow knights will never be a problem in an fi situation
im equally certain about upgraded erks from coyote runners (note that any existing erks will be upgraded for free as well)
im sure timing this with the mace big button and puma big buttons will never create absurd power spikes

Anyway, I suppose good patch overall. Was looking at the maps, I think Sahara routes needs something to separate TCs because while it can be fine to have them close, this game can't really be balanced with such a short rush distance.

It's quite a ridicolous overpop if maxed, but is it realistically any viable in a supremacy game?

why did halbs get a buff? dutch logistician is already a pain to deal with, now the age 2 vet halbs will be even stronger

For any age advance.
Also the discount is maintained if you change the ceremony.
The only thing that it has is that if while you are advancing in age and you keep the ceremony in your place, that time you spent does not apply to the discount of the next age until you finish advancing in age.

Thanks, i was meaning the card that reduced the time to age up (the card calcemac) not the one where u could use your warpriest to gather for an age up. If for example u send it in age 2, it will of course apply to reduce the age up time to age 3 but will it then also apply when u age up to age 4 ?

slinger -> AK is a 55 res increase, so you only need 30 slingers for the new 'revolt' to be worthwhile in terms of resource. In team games, it should be easy to FI and ship 24 slingers -> 15 coyote -> revolt while batching coyotes to get as many ERKs as possible. think it'll be busted in team games. probably pretty hard to pull off in 1v1.

I get that it works for some but it doesn't work for others. For example I just spent a considerable amount of time just staring at the matchmaking screen to get +0 +0 and +8 elo, which is honestly much better than last week when it was +1 +2 +0.

I wonder what made the devs think "oh, lets add 7 new cards to a civ that is mostly fine". I appreciate the effort they are putting into aztec but this feels very much like they overdone it.

Seems like a decent patch overall, actually got on to play a game but unfortunately after playing a bit of aoe4 this game just feels so shitty to play and that wont ever change sadly.

It only applies to the next/current age up. After that, other age ups will take the normal amount of time.
