Does PR still mean something to you?

I think that almost every day I hear something like "Yes, this player is super pro, in the TAD he had a PR of 33-50", but after more than a year of DE, I think that the PR no longer has value or relevance in this times.

What do you think? Is PR still relevant when bragging about someone's skills in the game?

DE Elo is trash because of how imba QS is (and you can't play rated lobbies). Plus the skill level is easily lower than it used to be on peak EP, so being on the first Elo page doesn't mean much. So yeah I still use PR when talking about someone's skill

Doesn't make sense to rate someone on PR after 2 years. Skill level didn't pause after DE launched.

Although I miss PR ranking so much. ELO number just doesn't have the same feels as actual rank label

Overpowered civs make PR less useful. We used to complain Iroq India in the old days, until we see how Hausa send 20+ horses into your base before 6:00. A Iroq/Otto/India lame brigadier was generally a major/lt-colonel at other civs, but a 1900+ Hausa player may not even have 1500+ when playing other civs.

Its like PTSD.. It means everything to me. It's like an abused child meets their abuser years later and still feels scared, submissive. PR damaged a lot of peoples minds, I am one of them. No shame in being a PR whure.. right? LOL

Yeah, it still matters. How else can we measure an epic fail such as the time that @Victor_swe lost to the PR 13?

Or some other people who want to "bring your PR down to zero".

PR means what? I felt ELO has worked well, but also it's deceptive because of the people involved.

For example it's good to know someone 'can' win (not 0%-20% wins, wanting to cripple a team before they learn to play).

Even top players always have losses after facing similar/better players that can randomly beat them.

But on this game it's broken anyways. At the start of release most wins did not count due to a bug, when winning 10, losing 2, it showed like 3:2 by the end, as was a noob playing Sioux. I've played 1400-1600ELO in teams and in 1v1 and won which shows it's the player not the ranking; 12 yr olds as well as mental cripples want to pay, teamstack, or cheat for fake ranks when they are ~25-50% worse; anyone with a brain knows that doesn't matter and you are 'there for a reason' if you were trying your best.

Same thing in any sport or competition, people pose as if they have high wins and then face like the preliminaries of an official tournament or an organization and then suddenly they demonstrate they were only winning by matchfixing, in other words: you don't know how they really got those wins anyway, did they win by rigging a match against a child? lmao

Have you seen the team ladder lately? Most of the top 100 is just people who've been playing alongside their mate on a smurf account to boost their elo - feels like a waste of time for anyone who wants to just play semi-balanced team games

Yeah pretty hard to get balance on qs for team. Issue I had with PR was it captured team and 1v1. So ppll just purposely lose 1v1 to inflate there team elo

I wish they brought PR back too. Or at least the rank names.

It's kinda funny that QS with so few players is much more imbalanced than rated lobbies where you can literally decide who you play against haha

It's time for a big multiplayer revamp.

I keep saying this as long as ESO is much better.
