House of Trading Post - Tournament No Walls.

I am pleased to report that for the first time I will be organizing a tournament on my own with a team in charge.
This time, following some ideas and suggestions from the community, I present to you the 1v1 "NO WALLS" Tournament, which, as its name indicates, will not allow under any circumstances to build walls. The prize will be an accumulated jackpot that the community can contribute, 75% will be for first place and the remaining 25% for second place. It will begin on Monday, May 8.



Summary
-Maximum 32 participants (any rating)
-1v1 supremacy, preselected maps (only standard competitive maps).
-Blind civ series with captain mode. (no civilization ban, and no chance to replay or reset civilization)
-You can not build any single piece of wall.
-Phases: BO3 group phase, BO5 best 16, best 8 and best 4 and final BO7.
-The 3 most picked up civilizations during the group stage will be banned for the rest of the tournament.
-There will be a group phase, only the groups were armed together via Twitch live and direct, with a system that I still have to think about carefully, to avoid very intense encounters soon.
-Winner takes 75% of the prize and the remaining 25% second place.
-The casting will be free, anyone can cast on their respective channels, they just have to talk to me.

I cannot say, but I have seen some games where Italia are abusing walls, so maybe Italia without walls are not so OP?? Maybe we can watch games were Italia is not booming behind walls and towers? I am exited to c

I think the main problem is the towers but a nice wall of basilica and banks isn't bad at all

I would say it is a tournament where turtle play is not going to work. Thats all
No civs are banned, from the start.

I am going to suspend it indefinitely, for 3 reasons.
Two colleagues who were going to help me told me that they won't be able to, and I don't have administrators. Second, I have no money. Third, it seems that there are some problems with the reproduction of recs for casting.

A shame, but hey, we do what we can.

PS: Later I modify the picking to something classic, ban 2 civilizations per round or something like that.
