This is the best thing to have happened to the game since news of its renewal.

To those here, please please share this game with your near and dear ones, heck even with the office colleague you find annoying ( we can bash him/her later in-game ofc ). Be kind, be patient with the new ones, this game has a steep learning curve, but once they are able to safely navigate past that, they will find themselves absolutely obsessed with it.
This is a breath of fresh air to the game, and I am all for it! Can't wait for the world to sit up, take notice and join us and partake in this absolute masterpiece of a game.

if they gave the option to play the game, achieve a goal and get the game, it would drastically increase the base of the game, because automatically when playing more than usual, the person already sees that the game is very good, and it would not stop more

No, it shouldn't have been done on release. The games were in a shit state when they were released it would've alienated everybody.
It's good to make it free to play when it's in a playable state.

InfernoGalore on the official discord said that they are working with Valve to figure it out. Seems to be a quirk of Steam and how it handles free games and dlcs.

it's what keeps the game going (servers, some developer), I don't think it's greed, nobody works for free just to make people happy.

If you used family sharing and borrowed the game when you start now it's like you're in the free version so no access to ranked, dlc etc. Same would happen if you did that to smurf and use several accounts. Now if you want to smurf you need to buy another copy of the full game.
