Counter Sweden civs/builds?

Sweden is somehow similar to Japan, but they can spam more units in early games with torp eco. Do rush civs counter them a bit? And is there a way to break the wall+cannon defense?

Maybe a greedy Dutch can win by carding their stuff and waiting for the map to run out? Halbs would be a great blocker vs Caroleans and the civ is generally less vulnerable to raids. Then again, I have no idea how fast Swedes can make their 2 falc timing happen so yeah. Just throwing ideas around.

If it's possible to block his 2nd mine and hunts, the game becomes easier; but sometimes he just have 2 mines (or a 5000 gold mine) in base.
Torp boom is a thing between bank boom and shrine boom: they need less invest, spam units faster, but is not constant. So the 2nd gold mine is the key point here.

Sweden in TR is just OP

I had faced off in 2 scenarios....

one a long boomy FFA and his strat was to spam jaegers that have almost 500 HP and over 50 attack. and used hackapels either in range or melee. seemed so hard to kill the jaegers as they had enough HP to run from mahouts. Only OP gurka was effective. I think i was winning in the eco war in that game, only from post game stats coul I see he lad like 1/3 res left after quitting, but the battle felt like a long stalemate. This was a competent player from RE.

another was a TR which my boom was much bigger from being more experienced but dropping down to 50 vils could not hold him off. he was using leather cannon and caroleans. I really could not find a good counter to caroleans. lots of HP, 30% reisist and big attacks. note I had a lot of lag in this game. I do not have a full 8gb ram to play this.

Play brits, send some vills age 1, kill their second hunt, then wall their mines! Good way to make friends too

I played sweden last night as India and tried this exact strategy and got ROFLstomped. Couldn't keep up with his eco + endless mercs + artillery + mass caroleans.

They can do okish vs jans at range I think, they do have rr, and jans low att.

Well doesn't matter so much if you're outmassed when fighting under TC, and if otto gives you time, you could ofc send 2 falcs. Have to try it out tho
