Help vs Germ Otto

I have played 14 games today, of those 14, 9 were either German, or Ottoman. I am decent at fighting the ottomans, but what is a good civ to pick that can easily fight german or ottoman. I am really tired of seeing the same 2 civs, so I figured I Might as well figure out the best anti civ or at least safe civ to go in this situation.

I'm not sure that there's a civ which can easily fight Germany, especially Germany AND Otto. That being said, I think Lakota should be at least decent vs both of these civs.
Other options could be British or Spain. I'm not super sure about British vs Otto tho, it seems like a pretty rare matchup.

You could play Germany, which does alright vs Germany and does well vs otto.

You could play Japan, which just seems like it's never bad.

You could play China, which does alright vs Germany and quite well vs otto except your starting crates are underwhelming.

You could play Lakota because they are otto counter I guess and cav civ not bad vs war wagons.

Brit is the only honorable civ in the game, you could play them.

Perhaps also I'll list haudenasaunee and Inca and Port and Dutch and Spain. Wait, Spain Pain Train. Choo choo! All aboard.

Germany really has no hard counter. Maybe that's probably why we see many Ger mirrors in tournaments.
China does well though, but still 50-50 (from legacy point of view)
You should be able to win most games using French and Ottomans against Germans (at my level 1st lt/capt). Can't say for sure if it works above that level since French vs Ger becomes Germany favoured as level goes up.

Against high level German player, you would get rekt using any civ.

Ger vs Japan was fair MU back on RE. On EP it was Ger favoured imo. On DE since Japan is nerfed, I believe Germany should just rekt Japan lol.

Even accounting for 3 free ranged shots an Incan pike still beats an xbow. The pike also has 1 more speed. Maybe you can outmicro pikes with your bows, but it's certainly not going to be easy for the average player.

Does CM (and only CM) beat inca pike rush tho?

As in if you can just send CM if you predict the pike rush can you hold it without overextending?

CM is a good card eco civs can send vs non eco civs. It doesn't make much sense outside of that context. Inca has a really good eco.

It's weird to me when peaple asking the community "what civ i should play vs X civ" ^^. I think peaple should play the civ they enjoy and learne how play vs the civ X (specificly when you are not top 20).

Now if you realy want a civ that counter german, i think spain is pretty good vs them (but maybe not anymore with the uhlan buff)

I guess it depends on people's objectives, some want to enjoy what they like to play, some wants to get better overall.

For Spain vs Germany, pretty sure it's spain favoured. Uhlan buff is irrelevant in this mu as they perform poorly vs spanish melee units. You can't punish spanish gold as germany since you can't 3sw 700c ff because no tp start, while spain get more shipments with fixed crates.

Unless you see a 1500 elo playing aztec, you resign. I mean the guy must be a godlike to player to have this rating at that level.
