Some good stuffs, some bad stuffs.

Good stuffs :
2 new civs
EP maps and balanced RE maps
1v1 rated games through QS
EP changes

Bad stuffs :
Ton of bugs
Aztec is unplayable atm, and even if they get fixed they won't be as fun as before before pokemon army and firepit were better
The team elo is retarded
Custom team games aren't rated so you have to team with a mate
The game is overall less playable (need to spam hotkeys and clics, even after getting used to it the UI/graphisms feel worse)
The game is too CPU consuming so it's laggy for a lot of people

I voted 8/10. I am having a tremendous amount of fun playing. Bugs and balance will be figured out with time, so I am not too worried about them, especially considering the low cost of DE (15.99 USD during sale). I am a pretty casual player as well, so a lot of the complaints about balance go over my head

What i like:
- New graphics look great.
- I like Indias 700w crates instead of 600w.
- Spain is relevant again. Anything that shifts the power away from Japan/Otto/Iro laming is positive for the game.
- Improved AI makes single player more fun.
- New strong civs make more MUs and variety.
- New music is awesome
- Im having a lot of fun on the new maps

What i dont like:

- Bugs - Crashes in team games especially
- I preferred the old ESO interface. I don't like that all ranked games are QS, and therefore blind

I voted Garja but i would give around 0-50% so meaning like 5/10 prolly ,the game is unfinished coz so many bugs. There are a lot of - ve things than +ve.

+ points:
-Added 2 new civs
-Better servers (stable)
-No more cheaters
-QS is kinda good ig so now you can't cherry pick & play ppl
-EP maps & balance added
-Rework to revolution & age up politician
-This game was cheap af here but it explains for it's price .

-points:
-Pathfinding is shit (units getting stuck etc)
-Attack move bug still exist
-Invisible warships for japan
-Broken stuff for incas & swedes needs working on balance again
-solo Matchmaking is shit for teamgames
-no avatar
-no whisper option to chitchat online
-unable to communicate in team games because of delayed messages
-bad graphics (I like legacy version better)
-Takes insane amount of memory ,meaning too much memory consuming for me it takes 87% of memory which is higher than any AAA games i have played in my PC, i have noticed in my task manager ,memory leak issues etc
-It Deletes your files (it's still there but however the case is rare now since they disabled mods but it happens still)
-Shit optimisation (sometimes lagg randomly in game or during fights ,Starting the game takes ages ,it's laggy for 1 or 2 games then runs smooth ,disconnects randomly in game eventhough i have net connection)
-Visibility is not great for all units ,you need to get used to it else you can't differentiate b/w 2 types of units
-Shift click bug is much worse ,results in backherding and not obeying properly.
-Randomly aoe3 de stopped working & closes
-oos still exist
-They killed mods & scenarios unplayable
-unranked games filled with noobs (i feel like there should be ranked lobbies)
-With every patch comes new bugs exclusive on aoe3 DE

It's laggy because of too much memory consumption.I have 8gb ram & it's not enough ,need prolly like 16 or 32 or even 64 as eaglemut said & hence the game crashes at 40 mins etc coz memory leak,i mean how many ppl could afford high end system world wide to run a small game like aoe3 de lol?

The game still runs on single core for CPU meaning how big boy your CPU is ,it should have strong single core performance to run smoothly.This was there from legacy (single core) and seems like they didn't change it which is why the game is still unoptimised ,for they to change ,they need to rework from scratch ,it feels like they wanted to have as little effort as possible in making this game copy-pasta everything from legacy ,the EP changes and just worked on graphics ,natives & 2 new civs.
Ig it should be smooth for anyone with >=i5 ,I get around 80 fps now ,on legacy i used to get around 220 ish.

I voted 1/10.

This is mainly because I uninstalled it after hearing that the game might delete my files. I'm using the same laptop for playing games and working. I just cannot risk losing any work-related data simply due to playing AoE3:DE. If this was not a problem, I would have rated the game 5/10, due to the various reasons stated above.

I would not recommend anyone to buy it. Go for AoE2:DE instead. The campaigns are so damn much fun. Just did the Alarich campaign again on hard. It's just nice to plunder the Romans.

I agree, some of the "team players" did mention this in discord also. On legacy u had a chance to chat with others through "whisper" what DE doesnt have yet, since i read through threads. If u meant something else with less social, i wanna see what its precisely meant.

Maybe 6 on release and I think it might get to 10 in a while with more updates. Having a lot of fun in 1v1 with easier matchmaking, balance changes, and better graphics. The game is already far better than TAD for me.

Yeah i really don't understand the hate for DE. It's the same game with a fresh set of paint and new strategy opportunities. Also ALOT less lag, 4 teams, new music, and so many new maps. Couldnt be happier.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, I have only ~50GB of free disk space left and need some flexibility due to team work via dropbox and other stuff.

they killed ranked team games which were the reason why I played aoe, haven't had a single fair 2v2 or 3v3. It's often like playing with ms vs majors teaming up. Because of it TAD and nilla are dead, so yea not really happy about DE
