Can Germany 13/10

Can Germany do a 13/10 similar to France 12/10 8 Huss but with 8 dops + 2 uhlan? I ask bc they both are 200 cost units. Does French version only work bc cav can run across the map? Do the German vills train time make it possible? Thanks. The idea would be to win fast or do lots of damage to a civ that would have a hard time with that

Of course Germany can, technically. But I think see two problems with this. On the one hand, German eco will be worse than its French counterpart due to CdB's pop efficiency. 12 CdBs are worth 15 normal villagers. Germany starts with 6 pop already and can only build another 3 villagers before sending the 4 SW shipment and becoming popped. So you will have lot of idle TC time. On the other hand, your shipments roll slower. That means you are likely get problems with sending your second shipment in time to make the entire build useful.

Even if the eco can support it, which I'm not sure it can due to 13 pop vils being less than 12 pop CdB, I don't see what significant damage you can do with 8 dopps.

With huss you can run in and out, force idles all around their base and last a long time under TC fire with 320 HP and 20% ranged resist. Dopps are slower and have only 230 HP with melee resist so they'll die to TC fire and can get caught or kited by minutemen.
If you're doing a 12/10 or similar you must do damage because you're intentionally putting yourself behind in eco. If all you can do is take down a few houses with dopps it may be hard to get value on your investment.

Also in addition u will likely not have a shipment once ure in age 2. France gets a free tp when 12/10 due to 200 w start which ger doesnt on top of ur shipment penalty. Im not even sure if u can afford tp plus tower plus the houses u need with so low eco. So most likely u will only have 4 or 5 doppels in ur first push since ur first age 2 shipment is late.

It's absolutely garbage, never worth it. It's way more awkward than the French 12/10

- Germany has time to train only 3 vils (1 min 15s) before they're housed and have to idle their TC, France can train 4 cdbs (1 min 56s) before idling
- France starts with an extra 50f and an extra 0.25 vil (and cdbs train a bit faster than they should) so they get 800f more easily
- France can go TP with their 200w without chopping anything, and get 3 cdbs extra early, while Germany needs 50w or 75g for their hunting dogs even if they don't build a house
- France has the native scout so they can find livestock and food treasures easily which helps a lot
- Germany doesn't even have a shipment ready if they age early and 13 vils is a terrible eco, you wouldn't even get 5 dops out unless you cut the transition TP or something


So unless you want to lose like 3 vils worth of idle time, hit up at like 4:00 without a shipment ready and a terrible eco, get a batch of 3 dops that achieves absolutely nothing... Don't do this
