I guess if he makes a spy, in theory you could also make one to snipe his explo and scout him. But it probably doesn't fit in the build

Send advanced scout, and:

If he train spy, kill his spy and scout his base;
If he go TP boom, kill his explorer;
If he play age 2, go scout+aenna;
If he FF cannon, kill his cannons with stealth scouts;
If he send mameluke, kill them with scouts too;
If he go FI revolt, train tons of scouts and hide them in every corner of the map.

If score abnormally high during 5-6 mins otto is going ff
If he gets tp in transition prolly he ages with 400w and gets stagecoach ,from here can he do age2 stuff or silk rod ff
If the score isn't high prolly hes making some units

The difference is that it was snsjack who Otto revolted and spread spies everywhere on Siberia.

Haha, yeah sucks these recs don't show the civ. I assumed spain for obvious reasons :p

I guess this is what happens if you make spies and/or the church viable. Sadly (or luckily, cause it's also what makes the game interesting) asian/twc/euro civs are too different. Euro civs have spies which used to be useless (and a bit underrated?) and if they become too viable, non euro civs could get quite fucked in early colo.

Getting a building that generates xp, to train a rather cheap unit that kills the enemy explo and grants you possibly 90-100xp, and then turns into a mini maphack... Sounds pretty good to me. And for obvious reasons even better as otto
