How to watch the recs?

How do I watch these recs?

I know in the past we relied on the aoe UI to watch them...but I wouldn't have expected that from DE. Maybe that's still the case

Can someone confirm if I have to take the recorded game and put in in a certain folder in the AOEDE directory, then open DE and find that recorded game?

I'm at work and can't install AOE DE on this computer, but I would be able to sneak in a recorded game or two if I could watch it independently.

Hi weeZ_, and welcome to the forum.

The recorded game download files in the Recorded Game section of this forum are the type that are viewed with the game, but you can find recorded videos of games with casters on the ESOCTV YouTube channel or previous videos n Twitch.

If you do have the game installed, recorded game files go in C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\%NUMBERS%\Savegame. Recorded game files become unlikely to work once the next patch comes out after they've been recorded, unfortunately.
