Fully Playable Revolutions

Have you ever wished that one of the many revolts present in the game were more accessible? You thought their bonuses and unique mechanics were interesting, but found the revolt method inaccessible? Then this is the mod for you! Take command of Twenty Five (25) civilizations in both single and multiplayer:

I've done my best to keep as many of the bonuses, mechanics, and cards as close as possible to the revolts, but made changes as necessary and reimagining things in the light I thought most like official civs.

As examples: None of the civs has 200pop limit from the start & all need to construct houses, any revolt with the Citizen card or equivalent has their settlers cost 70c, all revolutionaries start with reduced stats in age 2 but shadowtech each age, Death Hussar and Magyar Hussar are both Royal Guard upgrades, Hungarians and Romanians don't get their outpost wagon per shipment bonus until age II & Egyptians their mameluke until age III, the Mexican revolts get 2 of their federal cards in the age when you could revolt to them, Canadian villager damage increases each age instead of all at once, Americans and Peruvians get the General and Bolivar respectively at age III, French get an Eclaireur once they reach age II, and many others.

This mod is also intended to be compatible with my previous mod, Campaign Civilizations v2, so you can mix and match many different civs.

Just put out a small update, mostly focused around bug fixes thought there are some balance adjustments too. Currently my plan is to have another minor update ready for around the start of March, probably more balance focused. After that something more substantial hopefully will follow, keeping in mind I also want to put time into my Campaign Civs v2 mod.

General:
  • fixed voicelines for Falconets, Horse Artillery, Great Bombards, & Native Embassy Travois
Argentines:
  • added TEAM Lombard (I) to home city
Baja Californians (Filibusters):
  • fixed a bug which disabled Heavy Cannons spawning from factories
Barbary States:
  • Corrected the name from "Barbary Pirates" to "Barbary States" as the former is the name from the Historical Battles
  • Changed the Villager and artillery models to Ottoman variants
Brazil:
  • Changed the Dragoon Industrial upgrade from Legion Dragoons to Honor Guard (850w 850c) which upgrades them to Independence Dragoons; Honor Guard (IV) is removed from the home city
  • after researching Imperial Dragoons, they will be named "Imperial Independence Dragoons"
Central Americans:
  • removed Independence Movements (I) from the home city
Canadians:
  • 12 Metis (IV) now correctly sends Metis units
  • after researching Imperial Redcoats and sending Fencibles, Musketeers will be named "Imperial Fencibles"
Egyptians:
  • Changed the Citizen and artillery models to Ottoman variants
Finns:
  • removed Frontier Defenses, Extensive Fortifications, & Armfelt's Autonomy from the home city; Advanced Frontier Defenses moved to age IV
  • Blockhouse build limit now starts at 7, gains +3 in age III, +5 in age IV, and +5 in age V
French Canadians:
  • after researching Imperial Musketeers and sending Fencibles, Musketeers will be named "Imperial Fencibles"
Haitians:
  • after researching Imperial Pikemen and sending Pickets, Pikemen will be named "Imperial Pickets"
Indonesians:
  • Cetbang starting damage, range, and armor reduced. Damage and armor restored in age III, range improved in age III, IV, and by Heavy Cetbang upgrade
  • Cetbang population increased to 3. Reduced by 1 with Imperial Cetbangs
  • Java Spearmen enabled starting in age II with reduced stats, improving in III and IV
  • Removed the Pikeman as a trainable unit
  • Added voicelines for Cetbang and Java Spearmen
  • After sending Sumatran Elephants, War Elephants set to 3 population (up from 2) and Bhakti upgrades moved from Native Embassy to Stable
  • Belanda Hitam now works as intended
Mayans:
  • Added Settler voicelines
  • Kowoj Traditions moved from age II to I in the home city
Peruvians:
  • the Explorer and Bolivar can now rebuild the Cathedral after Lima (II) is sent
  • Added voicelines for Manco Inca
  • Manco Inca may now construct Strongholds without needing to send Machu Picchu
Romanians:
  • Added Landed Gentry (I), Sovnya (III), and Flight Archery (IV) to the home city
South Africans:
  • Added Dutch East Indian Company (I) to home city
  • the Tavern, Church, native Trading Post & Oldenburg trickles now affected by +10% gather bonus
Texians
  • fixed a bug which disabled Heavy Cannons spawning from factories
  • after researching Imperial Charros and sending Lancers of Texas, Chinacos named "Imperial Texian Lancers"

Hello! Another small update today, focused on bug fixes and balance adjustments. I'm always eager for more feedback, so please don't hesitate. The time until the next update I can't estimate, I've got some large plans. In the meantime, enjoy, and thank you for 1000+ downloads!



Global:
Fixed the voicelines for Homestead Wagon, Post Wagon, Arsenal Wagon, & Market Wagon

Argentines:
Added Ufizi (II) with Papal Unit functionality
Granadaro made into standard unit, trainable in the Stable by default

Brazilians:
Added Ufizi (II) with Papal Unit functionality
Jagunços made into standard unit, trainable in the stable by default
Fixed Volunterios da Patria auto train for Command Posts

Canadians:
Militia Act (II) now also improves Shock Inf train speed

Colombians:
National Hero moved from IV to I, Bolivar now has reduced stats in earlier ages
Llanero made into standard unit, trainable in the stable by default

Finnish:
Explorer given new hat and outfit

Haitians:
Maroons now properly scale with cost discounts
Moved 1 Covered Wagon from III to II
increased Tavern build limit to 2
Fixed Pirate auto train for Command Posts
Sevites (I) now also affects Pirates; Louverture Liberation (III) now improves Pirate and Maroon speed

Indonesians:
corrected Javanese Spearmen train and kill xp
Sumatran Elephants (II) given 50f cost, and increases by 50f each time sent

Mayans:
Fixed voicelines for Light Cannon and Captured Mortar

Revolutionary Americans:
Lexington Minutemen (III) reduced from 16 to 12 Militiamen sent
Rhode Island Militia (III) reduced from 10 State Militia & 5 Militiamen to 7 State Militia & 3 Militiamen

Revolutionary French:
Sansculotte cost now scales properly
Sansculotte gather rates now scale properly from lower base rates, some values adjusted slightly
Now start with an additional Sansculotte (6 total)
Fixed a bug causing Reign of Robbespierre (I) and Napoleonic Warfare (II) to stack their xp multipliers incorrectly
Napoleonic Warfare (II) xp multiplier increased from 1.2x to 1.3x

Rio Grande:
Zapata Maneuvers moved from IV to III

South Africans:
all villagers now build 10% faster

Texians:
Moved Land of Burnet from IV to I; removed Banderas Monuentales
After sending Texan Forts (*IV) forts will auto train Chinacos, Dragoons, and Falconets instead of Hussar, Carbine Cavalry, and Gatling Guns respectively
