Re: DE auto delete all system files
F my brother, report it here -> https://forums.ageofempires.com/c/age-o ... e-bugs/141
Might be worth looking for any contact details and getting in contact with the devs as this has gotten pretty serious.
OTHER PLAYERS please back up your files and consider not playing until hotfix

I kind of want to single handedly sponsor a multi-thousand dollar EP tourney just to give a middle finger to the DE devs

@harcha would his stream crash as a result or not and we can see the reaction? Im hoping that it doesnt happen to viper as it would forever ruin this games reputation

Re: DE auto delete all system files
This is going to be one hell of a class action (idk if this is the correct name in english) in the future. I just hope the dev companies will have the money to pay everyone and not have to shut down...

Re: DE auto delete all system files
so your saying playing DE could wipe out my computer in a crash?
Can it get any worse... they should have it shut down to get that figured out!

I'm calling for a total and complete shutdown of AoE 3 DE sales until our ESOC representatives can figure out what is going on

Ye, pretty sure MS will have to give money as a compensation to people if they threaten to sue them.macacoalbino wrote:This is going to be one hell of a class action (idk if this is the correct name in english) in the future. Is this not a joke? I'm afraid starting up the game now, better let it rest for a while

Re: DE auto delete all system files
Lmao I really hope one of the devs sees this. Imagine making a game and then seeing people literally afraid to even open it. What a disasteraaryngend wrote:Is this not a joke? I'm afraid starting up the game now, better let it rest for a while

I was contemplating doing that for AOE 4, but if they make games this buggy, no way!fightinfrenchman wrote:Should probably just buy a new computer to be safehowlingwolfpaw wrote:I pretty much want to request for them to uninstall my game, but now am kinda scared to do so!

Re: DE auto delete all system files
It's a serious issue, make a backup of your "C:\Users\" folder before playing this stupid game.
You gonna realise that it's to late when all your personnal files are deleted, i have spent hours so far trying to recover my data but no success until now

Re: DE auto delete all system files
Its not, cause you give the game permission to perform file changes when you download it.macacoalbino wrote:This is going to be one hell of a class action (idk if this is the correct name in english) in the future. Re: DE auto delete all system files
how many people has this happened to? are we sure it is not a isolated situation?
Edit: looking at a post from age insiders looks like this is happening to many people.
