Does the studio really know what 'damagecap' means?

Post by LaplaceArrow »

Several days ago my friend told me that his Incawarchief has only 6 attack damage after this shipment.

I suppose the logical thing to do would be to define the damage cap in the protoy.xml file but not actually assign an AoE - similar to how Abus Guns have a damage cap defined but no AOE. Therefore, the shipment could enable an AOE (like Aztec WC), and you wouldn't need to assign a damage cap, which is where I think the issue lies (in regarding to scaling).

Of course, this assumes that the developers actually play test their game, which we know they don't do (see broken enemy AI, Berbers in the historical battles, and Aztec Mining having three resource costs in this patch alone).
