Hotkeys and layout (classic/definite/etc) keep resetting for me after restarting the game. This happens most often when switching accounts, happened 3x today.
Anyone know a fix?

Only use 1 account lmao

It still happens even when not switching accounts though.

What kind of accounts? Windows user accounts or Steam accounts?
Either way this is going to be problematic, because the game saves local data based on both (%USERPROFILE%\Games\Age of Empires 3 DE\<steam user id>).
Furthermore, if your Windows username contains special/accented characters, the game will likely not be able to load/save local data persistently at all, they'll just keep resetting.

Both are on Steam.

That's an outright illegal character to use in any Windows file/folder nameKnArLoC wrote:Both are on Steam.

Well that's my steam in-game name not my username. Would that still cause issues?EAGLEMUT wrote:That's an outright illegal character to use in any Windows file/folder nameKnArLoC wrote:Both are on Steam.
