ESOC Bounty Board is back!!!

ESOC is bringing back the ESOC Bounty Board. The bounty board is a chance for players old and new alike to compete for cash prizes outside of ESOC’s tournaments and events. Each week, a single challenge will be posted in the dedicated Bounty Board section of the forums for everyone to compete starting from today for 4 weeks. . In order to be eligible to win, you must be a follower of the ESOC Twitch Channel. The winner of each challenge will get a aoe3 de stream key thx to MFD which you can use it if you don't have the game or give it to a friend who doesn't have one.

Bounty #1 : Fast Imperial

The fastest time to reach the imperial age (Age V) using any civilization in aoe3 de game mode with standard settings from 1v1 supremacy Quick Search will be crowned as winner of this challenge.

Here is a quick preview of the challenge done in legacy 9 years ago Legacy Fast Imperial . You can took a look at that to get some ideas. The current world record holder of fastest imperial in aoe3 is Aklak with 8:20 mins. Let's see what DE can bring us!

How to enter: Submit your replay or map in the Submissions subforum, and make sure that you have followed on Twitch at the time or your submission. If your Twitch ID is not the same as your forum ID, please make sure to mention your Twitch ID in your submission. Make sure to submit your entry as soon as you complete it. It will not be visible to other forum members. If you do not submit your entry and a new patch causes your replay to be invalid, you will have to redo the challenge.

Please make a thread by this format <your name > <Fast Imperial> in the submission forums before the deadline.

Rules Questions

Must submit a full screen screenshot of your name being displayed & the time along with the recorded game
No cheats or handicaps or abuse of bug exploits
Must start in age 1
game speed to be set to medium
Supremacy or treaty game setting
"All Competitive Maps" map link from the DE map pool with the size of 2 players
Opponent should be a bot
No custom maps or scenarios
DE only

a bunch of folks played on slow gamemode AND tactically paused for the falc challenge cuz theyre cheating bishes. completely out of the spirit of it

any map limitations? rules just say "normal maps." last interesting challenge was just a map win. if you knew which recently released map (winter wonderland) to play on you won, and had no chance if you didn't. is winter wonderland a custom or normal map?

imo should be skin rewards. like, skin of your choice if you didn't unlock it thru challenges

The game speed should be set to medium . There is no limitation of maps for now . "Normal" map was meant to define size of the map . No use of large maps allowed i edited the post to avoid confusion.
Pausing is legal . We cannot verify for pauses but yeah it will be a good spirit of the competition if you don't use it.

What's crazy about Aklak's time isn't that it was completed it 8:20, it's that he did most of it with only 10 villagers.

Winter wonderland is a custom map i think? If it's so then not allowed .Yes can use Plymouth. It can be FFA or AI on opposite team, it's 1 versus 1 .Difficulty of AI to be set to however you see fit . Recommended easy or use treaty game mode to avoid gunfire.

I like this way of challenge, just instead of it being beating aklaks 8:20 fast imp wouldn't it be possible to forbid livestock and maybe also water?
Livestock maps are busted in this kind of an challenge since fulling mills basically makes livestock worth crates and the map would have than give like 1k f crates after having sent in fulling mills.
Also should be forbidden to steal ai crates which got abused in Interjection video.
Interjection video shows fast imperial but in practice its almost never possible in reality against even an bot just because most maps arent insane livestock maps.

There must be opportunity to beat or at least match Aklak's time. I wonder if Mexico eco runs a bit dry after revolting Argentina to age 4 to get a decent imp time. Would getting to Maya count?
