300$ ESOC March Subscriber Tournament
>> Bounty Board March Challenge <<
Played Exclusively on vividlyplain's Empire Wars Custom Map
Tournament Schedule
- The tournament will begin on Saturday March 13th. Each round will last ~1 week.

Sign Ups
- Sign ups are open now! You can sign up using your My ESOC tab with your steam ID. You must be a subscriber to ESOCTV on twitch at the time the sign-ups close.
- Sign ups will close EDIT ** Friday, March 12th at 23:59 GMT.**

Civilization Rules
- Once you have won with a civilization, you may not use it again for the rest of the series. Losing a game does not disable a player’s civilization from being played again.
- For the 1st game in a series, players will agree on a civilization matchup. After that, the winner of the previous game will select their civilization first. This pick is final and will be locked in. Their opponent will then pick their civilization afterwards.

- In a Best-of-3, you must win with 2 different civilizations.
- In a Best-of-5, you must win with 3 different civilizations.

Map Pool
All games will be played on vividlyplain's Empire Wars custom map. There are two spawns on the map, one with water and one with no water. Spawn will be set by round as shown below. For more information about the map, check out the mod page and this wonderful spreadsheet containing spawn information by civilization.

Round of 32: Dry Spawn
Round of 16: Water Spawn
Round of 8: Best of 3, Dry Spawn, Water Spawn, Dry Spawn
Semi-finals: Best of 3, Water Spawn, Dry Spawn, Water Spawn
Finals: Best of 5, Dry Spawn, Water Spawn, Dry Spawn, Water Spawn, Dry Spawn

Rules:
- All games must be recorded.
- All results and recorded games must be reported using the match results submitter.
- All players must respect the tournament schedule. If a series is not in progress by the time a round is scheduled to end, the admins reserve the right to make a decision on the winner of the match.
- All players must coordinate with the admins to ensure smooth scheduling of casted matches.
- All other applicable ESOC tournament rules apply.

Additional Notes
- If you think your opponent somehow had an unfair advantage by using any exploits or mods, please PM one of the admins with the recorded game and screenshots.
- Admins reserve the right to disqualify any player(s) for failure to abide by the tournament rules. All admin decisions will be final.
- If you have any further questions, please ask in this thread!

Prize Pool
- 1st place will receive 200$, 2nd place 50$, and 3rd/4th place 25$ each.
- Exclusive forum badge.

It says "begins on" so I assume it's across multiple days but the timeline isn't exactly laid out.

Launches you approximately 5-6 minutes into the game but not with exactly standard stuff though as I am hoping for some early aggression and trying to provide some opportunities for variety.
