The guy living above me had his bathroom flooded and as a certified idiot did nothing to fix it. So the water came down to my ceiling and I noticed. Now the attic smells like rotten corpses and every time I open the door I feel like Im gonna faint. Any ideas on how to fix that?

Load the last savegame. Or restart the game.

There's no easy fix.

If it's your property, I would sue for damages. If you're renting, I would move out.

But who was living in the attic, the guy you're talking about? If it's you, how could someone else live above the attic?

If you're renting the best solution to any major problem is always to change place. Really don't waste time trying to fix stuff.

If you must stay there and your landlord isn't doing shit, invest in a dehumidifier and an air purifier.

you should bury dead bodies in the garden, not the attic.

You need professional help with that. Your upstairs neigbour's insurance should cover the, possibly quite massive, costs of fixing the water damage. I wouldn't live in a place that's been soaked in water and hasn't been properly repaired and dried.

Or else you can say hello to mold and asthma.

I have a contract till the end of the summer, I eill probably find a better place to stay. I have cleaned the wall from the wet molded plaster and repainted it. Ιm using a dehydrator because the place is all wet but it doesn't help with the smell

Why don't you just tell your landlord that it's impossible to live in the flat and you need to end the contract sooner.

It's not your fault and you shouldn't be forced to live in a shitty apartment (literally so).

PS. And why are you fixing an apartment which is not yours. Your landlord should do that on his expense.

I don't know about law in other countries, but I know that in the Netherlands the person renting is protected quite a bit by law. If something like this would occur, and the landlord refuses to fix it, then that would mean the contract can be ended and then you can move out. Also, things like this make living where you are much and much worse which means (again in the netherlands that is) that the landlord should lower the rent and give back rent to compensate for the worsened living circumstances. It's worth a try to figure out the laws where you are, as there probably are some.

The only way to do this is to kill yourself. You will then respawn at the last checkpoint.

No, if you kill yourself, the game crashes and you have to restart Windows.

And then, when you think you're going to respawn, it's all going into neverending updates.

Get coffee grounds in a coffee filter and tie it up and place it around your attic and it will help with the smell.
