ESOC has been around for 4 years now. I thank you all for being a part of this community and helping me become not only a better player, but also a better person. I have learned so much from you all and my life has literally changed due to this site.

I believe this is the very first thread: https://eso-community.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2

This thread was one of my first introductions to this site: https://eso-community.net/viewtopic.php?f=318&t=521

What was one of the first threads you read that you hooked you in? Do you have a favorite thread? Post here!
My posts represent my views and may or may not represent the views of ESOC as a whole.

Whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

The "Erik drama" thread proves that most members have matured (slightly) since then.

One of the threads that comes to mind was the one about rated/unrated games. I remember sending messages to Goodspeed, Veni and others on Skype to tell them to post in the thread as well.

And who doesn't remember the good old brackets at https://challonge.com/springschampionships ? Of course, the finals of that tournament were an upset according to the answers in my first created thread.

But lots of memories since then. Lots of staff changes, moderation drama, upsets in tournaments, nights of playing secret hitler and watching streams, playing scenario's with friends and voice chat, moving from proboards to phpbb and so much more

Some stats:

ESOC was created 4 years ago
In that time, we created:
8827 members on the forums
2920 members in the Discord server
5417 subscribers on YouTube
4654 followers on Twitch with 361,344 total views
48 subscribers on Twitch
40+ tournaments with a total prize pool of over 10,000 dollars
332300 posts made in 14267 threads

I had forgotten about that drama.

I laughed too hard at this:
