Well, the thing is this, clear and simple... I bought the game through the summer sales on Steam with a friend and when trying to play together, we proceeded to create an account in ESO and my friend was able to create the account successfully and I I had problems with the CD key.

How am I supposed to go on with this?

Depends. What problems with the CD key do you have?

Hello, @Sandsteamer

You can only make 1 ESO account per purchase. So you properly brought 1 copy of the game - and he used it to create the 1 ESO account. Not to worry. I can help you :)

I have a friend who can make a ESO account. Please tell me the name you want and Ill get it sorted for you!

First... thank you all for replying.
Now, I'll proceed to explain better, because there was not understood very well my point since I'm quite very bad with English and sorry for the delay... I thought I would receive a notification via e-mail but that was not the case.

We both bought the game, two separate games, in our respective accounts. But at the time of registering in ESO, he could create a successful account and I was throwing a cd key error, as if it were used, but the case is that, it is a game that I just bought.
That's what I can not understand, why he could and I got the error.

Yeah, that's what I thought. You just need to run this script in order to delete whatever CD key you have left over in your registry from a previous installation: http://agecommunity.com/downloads/AOE3_Win7_Registry_101.zip

So, I just have to run the script?
But in the event that I do not have any other previous installation and it is the first time, I install and / or buy the game?
Will it work the same?

Aha, sounds like you misinterpreted the meaning of this error. Error 100 doesn't mean that the key's been used; it means that the key is bad and cannot be used for multiplayer. This unfortunately happened because Steam ran out of valid keys during the sale. Microsoft is working on a solution.
