Sadly, SKG management can't make it to the auction today. I'm on a trip abroad, busy tonight and prince somewhere, not available all day.

We are willing to give Zoi power to buy players on our behalf, as he hasn't signed up and I trust his player judgement. If SKG will be victorious, he will receive a cut of the prize pool.

If he is not available/doesn't want to, I guess postponing is the only option.
I will be back on Friday, not sure about prince.

Well, if I were SKG I wouldn't give full power to TLS for the auction as he's rather new and doesn't know the players well enough. That's a shame both Prince and Somppu aren't available.

I'd say that Zoi is a decent pick too. He won 2 (I think) betting tourneys, so he knows how to spend his money, and his predictions are usually quite accurate.

I don't think that rescheduling the auction is a good idea if it's more than one day.

We've all been waiting for this for 3 weeks (that's a lot of time), and the managers were aware of it as well. I think the admins should impose a manager to SKG for the auction. I guess it could be an ESOC guy (riot, brookg, bramboy) or a volunteer.
We don't know why SKG isn't available (I hope Prince is doing well ) but EPL is a big event (about 30 people involved every week), and you're asking people to be very motivated and commited so you have to set the example, especially when it's the first event of this type.
We all know how Incog's New World ended (or well, didn't end) with lenient rules, don't make the same mistake with EPL.

I guess Prince had solid reasons to miss it (as I said, I hope he's doing fine), but still, the champion is meant to be the number 2 and Somppu isn't free.
Imo it was the wrong decision. I'm really disappointed with this. I think this tournament is going to be a mess tbh. The prize pool is not big enough to be an incentive players and the admins are way too leniant.
The whole tournament is also going to be delayed by a week which sucks for many players (me included).

Unfortunately, it's not that simple. Several others were asked to sub it. Ultimately it was decided that this was the better option considering all circumstances. Not knowing these circumstances might give a skewed view and a few likes on the forums, but I guarantee you delaying the auction for an event that we have been working on for 11 months was not an easy decision to make.
