I'm playing on gameranger
I got all 3 versions of game (vanilla, tad, twc) but I can't join the games that consist of twc content (I'm playing from tad version)

With CD and Crack, it can happen that Twc doesn't get recognized properly. A reinstall of all three games might fix that.
Like harcha said install the original first then twc and last tad.

Re: twc problem
You want to install TWC before you install TAD. However if you get the complete collection (steam or DVD), there shouldn't be this problem.
I know that there was one pirated rip which installed a sort of complete game but had this problem.

Yeah, the game is also currently on a -75% sale on Steam, so you might want to take advantage of that @kia_wp . Steam installation would fix your issue and you could create an ESO account to play multiplayer properly.

Yes but I understand if people wanna wait now. Probably best to save your money now and buy the definitive edition once it's out.EAGLEMUT wrote:Yeah, the game is also currently on a -75% sale on Steam, so you might want to take advantage of that @kia_wp . I think that makes less sense than it seems at first. You'll likely get a discount for owning regular AoE3 on Steam, so it's basically a freebie to buy it on sale now.bobabu wrote:Yes but I understand if people wanna wait now. Re: twc problem
I don't think they will give you a discount. There was a discount with Age of Empires 2 but there was already a remaster from 2013. So they probably felt bad about selling you the same games three times. Remember there was no discount for Age of Empires 2 HD. Though would've been hard to control who already owned Age of Empires 2 because there was no steam version. Well we will see. Would be nice for sure.EAGLEMUT wrote:I think that makes less sense than it seems at first.
