Level 8 is just too difficult. I tried it for >1 hour and win the gold medal, but I had to use some "skills" to make AI units separate.
It's hard to lose 0 unit against 3 huss/4 huss/1huss 2pike 2xbow/5 goons. Sometimes I can do this, but not always; and if you failed, you have to play it again from the very beginning.

"Build order" is playable, but you have to do the build carefully. Build TP in transition (must do this), steel trap asap, 4 cdb 700w 700g 600w (or 700w 600w 700g). You need to have all those shipments arrived before 9:00 to ensure a gold medal. The 2 cdb treasures help a lot too.

That one was a little bit difficult but with some good micro and pulling back weak units you should be fine. The 2pike/2bow/2huss one was the hardest. For that one I recommend choosing the musk and completely flanking the army to attack from the back and to pick off the bows immediately. This is the only challenge that I had to restart, but on the second try I didn't lose a unit in the entire challenge.

Yeah its doable, I kept missing it by like 5 seconds which hurts more tbh, part of the problem was the 23 on hunt objectives since I kept using up the hunts so they weren't on food lol

I actually didn't have a problem with lvl8, i found the last level with the artillery the hardest as losing nine units in 3 relatively big battles comes kinda easy. Solved that issue with sending falcs instead of culvs in the second wave though.

I thought build orders and booming were actually pretty good to highlight macro flaws. The gold medal timing on both seemed fairly tight so not much margin for inefficiencies.

Build orders was quite the information overload though, mixing actual objectives with hints (like resource allocation) was hard to see, and it would have been nice to have been told at the start that the goal is to get 40 musk 10 huss. Odd choice too that it was a wood/coin start, when crates are fixed to 2x wood now.

In Land battle you can just abuse CPU micro, he will stand below tower with his units like treasure guardians, and you can kite him like treasure guardians. Feel like i shouldnt be saying this so people actually learn to micro a bit

After failing ~5 times due to losing a musket when fighting against the small army, I realized this and thought that is how dev's intended it to be played....
