Surprised about the Profile Avatars and the Swedish customization (now all european civs can be customized again).
The Challenge Event is what they've been doing with aoe2:DE for a long time already: missions that you can complete on a daily basis to unlock rewards.

Probably a new elo category, like "custom games" or "casual". People are extremely afraid of the word "ranked", so the vast majority of players are with zero rated games played, and people in custom games have no way of telling each others skill level.

"just play ladder" would fix it, but they made it clear that they prefer to stop playing then clicking in ranked, so its good that they are listening and adding this for casual deccan team players to feel welcome as well.

No, there is no link between legacy and DE. I guess it will just be a new unranked rating based on your hosted games.

No, there is no link between legacy and DE. I guess it will just be a new unranked rating based on your hosted games.
