Funniest caster pronunciations?
Funniest caster pronunciations?
I love the way some casters, particularly Drongo, pronounce some civs and units.

Re: Funniest caster pronunciations?
Well i remember some of the french guys who used to cast in legacy had some pretty strong accents which meant that i sometimes struggled to understand what they said (not all of them tho i always liked kaiserklein casting for example)

Re: Funniest caster pronunciations?
Gonna use this nitpicking thread as an excuse to nitpick and say that i am pretty sure Karni Mata is written without the second r.Riotcoke wrote:Karni Marta
Props for the added effort of using phonetic codes instead of awkwardly trying to describe pronunciations with tons of vowels like the rest of us plebs though.

Anything german.Astaroth wrote:What are your favorites?
Or people still calling me Erin.. it's Aaryn!! A as in arbitrary (the first a, not the second one). I bet if I was a tournament player, they would pronounce it the typical way.
Re: Funniest caster pronunciations?
Most of you missed the prime of ESOC casters. Imagine Yumi being pronounced as Gambis and Shrines as Sheens, confusing the co-caster (me) and resulting in a few seconds of awkward silence until simply ignoring it and carrying on as if nothing happened. @Hazza54321

love when interjection would just totally butcher American/Spanish/Native names like huaminca (hu-MONKA) and mendocino (mendochi-NO)
also love when Kaiser would talk about units molesting other units

American casters trying their best not to say calvary (?).
@Interjection butchering amalgation for the 100th time. I know, too many syllables...
But listening to @Aussie_Drongo really feels like he is just a reptilian and is seeing every (non-english) unit name for the first time.

It's amalgamation, not amalgation. Or did you do it on purpose? If so, I suggest using the expression (sic!).

Re: Funniest caster pronunciations?
You use (sic!) when you are writing a word with a typo in it on purpose to show something. So I thought maybe you wrote amalgamation wrong on purpose without denoting it.harcha wrote:Don't know what that meansaaryngend wrote:Well you butchered the word too.harcha wrote:American casters trying their best not to say calvary (?).
