I feel like you should talk to @aussiedrongo about how to make a viable YouTube channel and streaming career just with AOE3, it seems like he was clearing $200 a month easy even with the very small population of this game. With him and samurai revolution leaving there's a huge hole that you could potentially fill. Maybe do a breakdown of the Mexico civ and basic explanatory content like the early Aussie vids. I would try to copy his template as best you can. Goodluck!

If I ever decided to make money via YT, it will be making videos for kids. Like reviewing toys, or playing kids video games. Seems less effort and just requires you to make funny voices. And you don't even necessarily have to show your face on camera.

Also easier to catch on what's hot cause in normally has something to do with the latest marvel or dc release. And you really don't have to be an expert in those topics.

Yeah, just exploit Kids for the good ol mula. Make kids addicted to videos and bug their parents to buy that stuff. It's easy and also very trendy.
