Looks like a glitch more than a bug (which for example would be a unit having a wrong stats because of a typo). It's pretty obvious cheating because the intent is clearly to cheat.

I mean it's pretty much the same but just look at the example.
A bug can be a minor misfunction, a glitch is the game being broken. I'd say an invisible wall is more like the second.

a glitch is something you prompt ig by doing an action whereas a bug is a mistake made by the devs

Next best strategy:
1) Age 1 Spearman rush
2) make invisible walls around opponents base fully walling him in including boxes around coin mines, berries, hunt whatever
3) win

Thankfully you should still be able to kill these walls with Attack Ground on siege weapons, but it does require Castle Age :(

back in the day, I remember ESO specifically saying that they would ban anyone caught blatantly abusing the firepit bug in game with proof

Bugs are cute little mistakes.
Glitches usually require you to go through hoops to activate/abuse them, they are a little more complicated in nature. Most of the time people using these know the exact steps to reproduce them. They don't usually happen by chance since most people play standard and never discover them.

you cant really accuse him of cheating if has just abusing a bug? they need to patch this so it cant happen I agree but common has far from cheating.... such a shitty title accusing him of a cheating when its just a bug?
It is demuslim called him a cheater, not me.
And if Twitch chat is right, you have to install something to make this bug happen.

Exploiting a bug is generally regarded as cheating. Just take a look at EGCTV's tournament rules as he's hosting the biggest AoE4 tournaments right now, which explicitly forbid you from exploiting any bugs not already named in those rules.

Was horrible to watch this live. Especially when he mentioned after the game that it's fine to exploit "because horse archers are a bug as well and people use them".

You need age 3, at least 900 non-food resources and 2 auto shots from a mangonel to even the playing field for something that's blatant cheating as you as an opponent don't have a function to build untargetable walls to invisble wall of his starting base.

Yeah wasn't he already doing alt-d and machinegun crack shot abuse on aoe3? I kinda remember him as an abuser
Yeah, but he was doing it for a good cause.
He was abusing these bugs so that these bugs get the attention of the original 2005 Age of Empires 3 developer team.

Sadly, no hero like Khorix remains to hardcore abuse bugs on eso so to this day alt-d and crack-shot abuse still work.

Same idea, but in legacy AoE3 he would use a different argument - that the mechanic has been there for such a long time that everyone playing competitively should have learned to use it.
remember Prince warned about it years ago
