This is good. I am trying to get back into the game and there is no better way to do so than to play an overpowered civilization.
I've got a feeling it's probably going to be fine and it will mostly be a matter of tweaking down numbers. The only thing I fear are the 4.5 speed ranged infantry and the 4.75/5.0 speed Heavy infantry omnipresent in D.E. civilizations.
Plus, nothing can ever top the ludicrous stuff put into Mexico.

I just hope Italy isn't overly complicated like some of the newer civilizations. I have no urge whatsoever to learn what a Mexico is.
Also, are we going to talk about Leonardo da Vinci's tank behind the cathedral? It might just be a new cheat code, but for the memes I really hope it's a real unit.

Didn't even notice. Probably air baloon or cheat
Apparently they can trade with carts from the market. Also what are those sloops, merchant boats or just props?
So, units are elmeti, goons, genoese xbow, pike, halberdier, and a unique rifle, also it seems a regular xbow between market and dock.
Also they build banks(produce coin or maybe new resource?), and market seems producing wagons?
On water, they have caravel, and a unique boat. Also it seems an venetian arsenal on left bottom corner. There should be unique techs for water i guess.
I wouldn't want to be too fiscal but for sure at that time the flag wasn't yet that of today but it was that of the Kingdom of Italy with the Savoy coat of arms in the center.

Yeah, let's reopen that Pandora's Box and also discuss the German flag, which doesn't stand for Germany at all. It's the two-headed eagle and is clearly a symbol of the multicultural construct called HRE with its German, Italian, Czech, Dutch, Polish, etc. subjects.
Here you can find a list of German flags. Good picks could be the banner of the King of Germany, the flag of Royal Prussia (due to Friedrich der Große being die künstliche Intelligenz für die Deutschen) or the German Empire flag, although the last one tends to have negative connotations nowadays.
Whatever is written above: this is no financial advice.

I don't know what to tell you, I didn't understand De's system of flags, it would be better to put the flags of the last period of the game that is, almost the end of the 1800s excluding the natives.
