A sequel to Goodspeed's excellent ESOC history quiz, this follow-up quiz features 100 points worth of lore questions to test your knowledge of ESOC.
Some notes:
After the quiz you will automatically receive a grade. Ignore this - I will grade the responses manually. Your actual score will most likely be significantly higher
This is an ESOC lore quiz, not a Twitch or Discord lore quiz, so questions will focus on lore that you could reasonably determine solely from reading ESOC as opposed to reading Discords or watching Twitch streams. There may be a couple of minor exceptions if I thought the lore was common enough knowledge
Point values are admittedly pretty arbitrary. I wanted to make harder questions worth more points, but some were so obscure that I felt bad making them worth more than one or two
I expect this one to be fairly difficult. There are no prizes for doing well. If you score more than 90 points on this quiz, that's probably a bad thing
Thank you to SirCallen for contributing some question ideas

Me a ribbon, they, all dead

@callentournies gives the first response and takes the lead with 72/100
@iNcog is next with 37/100, struggling to remember his fellow former staff members
@Mitoe pulls off a solid 45/100, which is substantially more points than he will earn for the Boomers this EPL
@LopsidedFluff gets 3/100, but it's a valiant effort
@dicktator_ comes in second place with 60/100, and some of the answers are interesting enough that I'll need to confer with my senior analyst (so this might go up a couple of points)
@evilcheadar answers two questions and gets them both wrong. 0/100
@kaister starts off strong, but gives up around the short answer section and makes 30/100
Quite complex, fun, and some answers were right but he gave them wrong
Aoe3DE is an imperfect version of a Moba+Tower Defense with RTS features.
The new civilizations are Pay To Win, they don't win the skills but strongly the civilizations, the skills have faded into the background.
This game has become pure complex garbage.
I think I was active and inactive too often to get a good score. I wouldn't mind an answer key at some point. My biggest failure is not knowing mitoe's usernames origin story. As a self proclaimed #1 mitoe fan, I think I have fallen behind bruh

That is sad because it is probably the most wholesome thing on the entire forums
good stuff, i underestimate how much time i spend here

I graded one of Callen's answers incorrectly (he spelled my name wrong, which hurts just a little bit), so his score goes from 72 to 71
Cometk pointed out that there are four valid answers to the tournament winners question. I wrote it with the intent of there being only three, but a reasonable argument can be made that a fourth player qualifies. The way I'll grade this is that identifying any three out of four will get the full three points. If you correctly get all four (nobody has done so yet), you'll still get only three points, sorry. I've amended peoples scores to reflect this new grading.
The Dutch Media Team clan question is under review
@duolckrad 69/100 This isn't actually me, identity theft is not a joke! If you want to have another username associated with this then message me. Also you got the first question wrong.
@gagootz20/100 We're gonna need to work on this one
@Goodspeed24/100 which is public shame-worthy levels of bad from the previous quiz maker. How do you get the NWC winner question wrong, were you playing Go the entire time the finals were going on?

Perfect storm for me. My abysmal long-term memory prevents me from remembering stuff I once knew, and more recent AoE3 history is a complete unknown (I don't own DE and the last time I watched an AoE3 stream is at least 3 years ago). Combine those factors, and there's not much hope.
I couldn't even remember the second NWC finalist lol

My point is that iirc all 4 rules were used. Either that or two of the options are deceiving because one is partially true and the other one was has been used in showmatches but not tourney. Hence the tricky question
Lakota, Sioux back then, was viable too due to deer and bison shipments iirc, but seeing all those rulesets next to each other sure reminded us of how many different tourneys and formats there were, really cool
