game is not interesting (try hard unit maker defeats bored non-unit maker) but the build up to 8 mins is cracked. DE lets you just satisfy all your immediate housing needs with miniature factories, so that's pretty good to get.

3 cdb, bank wagon, 700w, church trickle, cdb embassy w/vasa torps and stagecoach w/20 regulars ALL by 8:00.

this reminds me when I was preparing for ECL and playing Queen Isabella on Scandinavia that actually you get bigger 9-10 min masses investing in vasa torps and stagecoach (as fr) early than doing either one, or neither. that seems awfully fast to pay off that hard. crazy how different timings and masses can become depending on these maps, how you can get bigger masses with more follow up
