What don't you like about the maps? There are a few I don't like but they seem fine to me overall. Though I do like the new maps there's no point in a legacy tournament if those game-changing bigbutton/op ca/berber nats are a thing.

getting rekt by broken mosque tech million nizam or argentina revolt with spain or rdm rangers pop out of nowhere or bosniak decimating everything russia has age2 isn't legacy for me either

I think in a lot of cases those stupid DE additions could easily be listed and banned from the tourney, since it's legacy after all. Imo there's a case for not banning them if that would make the civ too weak. For example, otto without nizams still have a ton of available strats and are a very strong pick, so banning nizams is ez.

If we had to ban everything controversial added in DE, the list would be long (even for legacy civs only).
I'm opened to suggestion for extreme cases but I don't think there are any major concerns at this time. If there is, feel free to discuss it here or on esoc discord.

- Spain argentina revolt : seems way weeker and much more punishable than Italy argentina revolt imo.

For the record I don't feel like there's a real need for those bans in terms of balance (but idk the meta so can't really say), just saying it wouldn't be absurd in terms of design, considering it's a legacy tourney. I don't really care either way, unless something is really broken and I don't know about it

i could get behind an argentina ban as theres no doubt its broken but i cant really think of anything too game breaking with legacy civs

Argentina revolt with spain is less scary than with italy and i dont think anyone is gonna try it anyways in the tourney

Wait I just realized there's AGAIN a civ ban in this tourney? I don't understand this rule, it's frankly just terrible, just makes for lower skill games on average for no reason. Can anyone explain why it's still a thing?

I actually agree, but if we can't even think of a single legacy civ feature that warrants a ban, why are players granted a whole civ ban per series haha
