Stream Cheating Accusation

Actually im adding this whole posting to esoc to the "layers of sussy gussy" category. +1 sussy gussy stream snipe point awarded for the post. In addition to:

Finding 80 wood treasure with aztec pokemon army at lower right native TP on vistula basin. Don't take 15 seconds to get the treasure but instead walk to the opposite lower left side of the map. Proceed from there to walk entire pokemon army including eagle scout to the left most trade post(furthest from opponents starting tc). No wood has been gathered, no vills have been transitioned onto wood. We just have the overpowering intuition to park our Aztec age1 army at this tradepost for 90 seconds while gathering 200 wood rather than walking east and collecting 80 wood on the way to a different TP socket. Oh wow here's oppo explorer building his first ATP look at that. Good to know you had the tab open though we can add another +1 to sussy gussy

Oh wow there was a whole thread about this. Who's really the emotional one here the guy who literally asked "why did you go there. You passed up 80 wood treasure and walked completely across the map." Thats whats called a question, I did not say "nice stream snipe loser" or something. I asked him why he went there. Whats more unhinged, that, or insta resigning and going and making a forum post about it lol. I honestly didn't realize he was streaming and watched it from his POV later and was like meh okay sure....Weird and unlucky for me but 99% not a snipe

Yea I'm guessing you saw the thread because you signed up for the tournament. Obviously my reaction was over the top, other people replying also rightfully pointed that out, but not one person agreed with your accusations. I explained (maybe badly) in the OP why my reaction was so over the top. I'll just add here that I've been playing fair and honest games in this community for over a decade so I never expected to ever have to deal with cheating accusations from any relevant player. When you said "lucky find?" I actually thought you were just pointing out that I got insanely lucky there, I literally didn't think you were suspicious until I queued into you again and you pressed the issue, and I was completely shocked. And yeah I can admit my reaction was cringy and over-the-top, I don't even want to look at my posts in this thread again, but I have never once done anything unfair in order to win a game.

Edit: Just realized I forgot to respond to the "it was just a question bro" part. I don't think this is fair, especially since you sent an additional "?" when I tried to stay silent. I don't know about you or other players but I can't immediately remember the scouting patterns that I took in previous games. I personally think it's ridiculous to expect people to remember the exact rationale behind every right click, and be able to defend themselves on a dime any time they get lucky. I had to rewatch the VOD to jog my memory for the original forum post. There was no way I'd be able to answer that question in a way that'd satisfy you while macroing age1 and thinking about my gameplan. The question also implied that you weren't satisfied with my answer to your first question (right after you resigned), that it was in fact just a "lucky find", and that you were at the very least suspicious.

So I'm not sure if you actually still think I cheated or are just trying to trigger me further since since obviously your original accusation got to me. If it's the latter then fair enough but you are two months too late, if you had made this post the day of you would've gotten a much juicer reaction out of me. But anyway, iirc the wood treasure had two bears and my eagle scout was far away from my WC, and I didn't want to try to take the two bears with just my WC. I idled by the treasure for a bit because I was playing badly. Went to lower left because eagle scout found the food treasure had two of the gunner guys and I could convert one, and I preferred food over wood since it would help me age faster. Entire pokemon army was there because I had just taken the food treasure, I moved toward the TP socket because it was the closest blackmap. I had no interest in the 80w treasure at that point, I had left it alone for so long that if I walked back across the map for it I thought there was a chance it would get taken before I got there, and didn't think it was worth walking across already-explored ground to get to it.

This part "park our Aztec age1 army at this tradepost for 90 seconds", did you think my plan was to just sit there and wait to build a TP? I was looking for treasures, I was going to walk past the TP line to the other side to look for treasures, since the other option was crossing the river, walking all the way back across already-explored ground. I was hoping to find some treasures on the other side of the TP line...

I had your stream in another tab but the tab that I was looking at was Julian's guide, I watch people's streams while queueing sometimes then close them or switch to another tab once the game starts.

I for one take issue with this "pokemon army" description.

- The explorer is the strongest part of the army; Pokemon trainers are useless in battle
- Pokemon have multiple moves. The converted guardians have 1 attack
- Guardians don't evolve

I could go on

All good i was just trolling a bit and i appreciate the thoughtful reply. I dont think you sniped man. Ive been accused by one of the biggest streamers and i know the stigma lingers with some viewers still but all i can do is laugh. I completely agree with your philosophy on cheating and stream sniping and Ive always been that way.
