I have came across criticism for me using this every time i play. Theoretically the explorer is never dead, he’s laying there saying his life is painful or whatever the quote says.. that being said it’s possible for him to get up and walk if he wants because he’s not dead, like literally he’s not dead just wounded when he falls. That being said I think alt D is like a wounded person getting a surge of adrenaline and trying to get up and get to safety or what not lol

If you don’t feel like reading through this entire thread, a good summary is that alt + d is a legitimate move. Just like playing water, some people may not like you but that’s the way it is. It has trade offs, like if you do it too soon and revive with 8hp you can easily be shot down again and the opponent gets 45xp if you are unlucky. Tournaments can have their own rules about using it, but if you’re not sure you should alt + d.

Damn, i have to remove that guy, who destroyed my factory with alt+d, Sioux warchief+ siegedance, from my pestlist. Without the warchief stealth mode card it felt a bit lame. I assume i was wrong.

i did alt d on DE and it worked. i forgot to save the recorded game. it was an accident, I have the hotkey on my mouse. hero went down and went up in about the same frame, it was instantaneous. it's still possible, don't give up on your dreams. trying to recreate it to no avail, but I won't stop until we have alt d back on DE, rightfully so, because it is not without risks, takes skill, and isn't cheating
