What changed to make France an OP civ?
Not long ago France was mostly considered quite an average A tier civ, now I see people everywhere saying France is OP, the game hasn't had any balance updates in a while and the civ is pretty much the same since the EP days so what changed?

Not really, I've heard Hazza implied France is too strong ATM when he was playing against kaiser on stream, and when I said in a lionheart stream chat that France is not OP the rest of the chat seemed pretty against that, when lion read it he went "oh here come the French defenders" or something like that while making dick sucking gestures with his hands, which was pretty funny but he does actually believe France is OP

Judging by their win rate 1500+ on FFP, they're pretty good.

Re: What changed to make France an OP civ?
Maps have alot of food treasures/livestock which obviously benefits france in terms of their age up time as they 12/10 everygame. Big difference if france ages at 3:30 (idleless 12/10) compared to 4:20 (14v). The nat scout also has an easy time collecting livestock and scouting food treasures making these age up times stupidly consistent. Not to mention france explorer has +1 ranged attack and also builds tps faster (can even pull trick the hero with the scout to build the tp even faster). Its more than likely your scout has found a food treasure before your tp is built so you can straight towards it before your opponent can even contest and with +1 ranged attack and nat scout you win every explorer war.
This obviously gives france alot of early tempo and the latest patch make cdbs train faster aswell which also decreases the age up time and also makes their economy much better in the mid game. So yeah its basically just starting the game alot earlier than other civs and with solid eco and solid units, no weaknesses in composition strong skirm goon cav solid musk huss options and 2 falcs. Aswell as a (usually) unpunishable 6:30 ff time with 4cdb and all eco ups and 2 tps
