Jerimuno messed that game up with Ethiopians...way too late on building the Quarry, no Granary, no Catocoments and only relyed on Selfengas and shipments. DUDE build units, thats what barracks and stables are for. I know you cant build the stable until you age with the certain part library but you had the chance around 22 mins! Although Spatials are hard counters for your units at least you can outnumber them...jeez. Anyhow Bulgaria is pretty nice civ, gotta give that one a try.

yeah Ehtiopians beat bulgarians ..he got to age 4 at 9:40 secs which is 1 :40 secs late and also tigary lancers not great i think ,could work but easily defendable ,and yeah he went the greedy style ,yellow line tech so he should be up around 8 mins and rekting bulgarians ,that 1 shipment wasted was huge i think coz it was on thar desert and ethiopians are not that good in non tp maps but yeah i still think ethiopians win easily .

sure i can train age 3 units from cantonement at around 20 minutes. works great vs age 5 spasitel
selfangas are shadow teched, pretty cheap, and counter spasitel AND artillery. Clearly the better choice.

Even if i didnt go for the yellow line, but instead for the blue one, i would have one tower in base, with what 30 damage? vs a 400hp goon type unit in his age 3, so that doesnt stop him from idling me. If you rewatch you can see my first mine is on the edge of los from my 1st tc, so idling is super easy for him, and i have to walk extremely far with my vils every time.

overall it was just a good idea from xavito to send a couple spasitel from the infinite shipment before aging up, it delayed me more than him.

Even then, if you get the normal 7:15 ish age up time for IV, you can't stop bulgaria from aging up, and then your age 4 starting army is just much worse than his soon to be 30 spasitel with 5 voivods.

i saw you retreating with selfanga back , once the cannons popped ,why selfanga counter artillery and also those cannons stayed alive so loong.Not saying yellow line is bad but timing is very important i think.
