Aztec questions
A hello to everyone out there,
I am a PR 19-20 Player and began to learn the Aztec a bit more and intense. I play round about 50/50 team and solo games.
Whenever i play this nation i cannot decide whether which age Up i should pick (RE) and rather i should go for the age II timing push (10 + 9 maces etc.) or Just go for a semi ff with cayotes or a greedy style.
When I fight nations like Japan, Portugal and other defensive nations the choice is a bit obvious. But what when i face agressive nations like Ottos, iros, sioux etc. Should i go there with the fast age up send 700w and build war hut at home? Or the old school skull Knights age Up.
Lately i fought China and went for a cayote / pike greedy semi ff and won (i guess it was more luck than everything else)
I would like to hear some advice from you in term of this topic.

1) Fast age up is always better, even when you want to semi. You just get more eco which is what matters.
2) Against Otto, Sioux and Iro you have to go fast age up and fight in colo. Aging is just not an option.
3) I tried to semi FF against China but from my experience, it only works when your rush made a lot of damage, and then you should finish the game in age2. Going fortress is just giving China opportunities to come back.
2SK age up against China is viable though if you want to go all in.

qiang do nothing to coyote runners if the game stays colonial there is nothing china can do

When you send in 3WP, will you then go on the WP dance for the 10? Or do you stay on the fertility dance

Against China you can spam coyotes with maces shipments or start with a pike batch, and then spam coyotes with maces shipments.
Not sure why you would pike/coyo.

At lower levels pretty much any rush can work vs China as defense will be full of mistakes which by the way can totally happen even at higher levels in this MU.
I'd say the best way to rush China (on EP at least) is coyo+puma timing because coyo pretty much kills everything China can interpose in colonial and puma quickly siege down the villages. You then add maces when he will send stuff that counter coyo and puma. Mace coyo can be cleaned up by MM+ TC fire + 7 steppes if not careful. Same for mace pike.

Nah infantry traintime is sort of inferior for that purpose. 3WP is the quickiest way to get 10WP out.

Is 3 WP really that much faster than fencing school?
It also speeds up warrior train time, WC revival, mace/puma/jpk train time for the rest of the game...

Yea, it's much faster, like 25-30 sec. If you want your infantry to train faster, just build a 2nd wh with the extra resources/exp you'll get during these 30sec.Lukas_L99 wrote:Is 3 WP really that much faster than fencing school?

Garja also once said that Azzy fortress was fine against China with a jaguar/eagle composition. Most likely I said jpk/coyo. And honestly I'm not sure even now what the best build is for that.

Good thing repelling volley doesnt change multi vs erks! Ive tried vs china your only real chance of beating the deathball is sort of an erk coyo jpk mishmash but its nearly impossible to outmass and China just makes mace so irrelevant which is a huge hit to azzy

If china just builds his shit close to tc i feel he can cm vs puma preasure so seems some coy mace stuff is best then.
