Have to agree that aging up is the best choice here, but I also think that indias units are simply too strong in colonial. Not sure how they scalce later on, but I dont think there is a civ that can match indias late colonial army power except maybe for japan or russia.

I might be wrong but why did you attack, you were close to maxed out, had a slightly better eco and had the ressources to age. Just age 3 and gg no? As if you go to age 3 the last naval gunners card assures the water dominance.

if brit train more musks instead of longbow, will it work? longbow are good at defending, but in a high-population fight their dps are quite poor (due to animation). and they lose hard to sowars.
in fact longbow can't deal high damage to any indian units, even sepoy (only 1.25*hi)

yeah, in very high numbers i noticed longbows do overkill enemy units quite hard. I mass no more than 30 usually
