XS Debugger Blue Screen on Loading Step (SOLVED)

When the game opens, I see this blue screen.
I am able to turn off this blue screen by clicking the top right corner.
But the loading never end.



I have this problem when I use UI.2.2 maps or use from gameranger someone's map.

I have no problems with other package maps.
But I can't open OBS games with other maps. Although I FFA the settings, the others are not viewers.


Extra information:

* I downloaded the game from steam last month.

It means there is an issue with map script. Hence the script can't be loaded beyond that point.

@rockforever simply do not enable the XS debugger for maps (config option debugRandomMaps) and the maps will load fine.

Uh, its been a long time so not sure if entirely accurate but I think there are 2 ways its enabled. One is go to my games in your main drive mostly c:.

My games > aoe 3 > startup. Should be file called user.cfg. there would be a line called debugrandommaps or something, delete it and then save.

Other way it could be enabled I believe is right click on age3y.exe Go to properties. In launch address at the end there should be something similar +debugrandommaps. Delete it and all spaces.

Now let me tell you how I solved. It so that other people can solve it if they have this problem as well.

Before doing all these operations, make a backup of your original file.

Since I use steam, the file address is as follows.
"C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Age Of Empires 3\bin\Startup\user.cfg"

Other people should go directly to the folder where they installed the game. Usually "C:/Program files/My Games" or "C:/Program Files/Age of Empires 3"...

Now, Once you find the "user.cfg", right click and edit it with notepad.
You can search for lines containing "debug" with "ctrl+f".
I found 3 lines and deleted them properly. Save the file and exit.
And congratulations, it's done! Enjoy your game!

While game is always a good option it is not a necessity in this case. User.cfg is a custom created file for custom or additional content and can be remade.

Back to the point the debugger will tell you which line of the script has issue(s), and if you are aware about RMS you can fix it. Not worth the while though
