Supremacy players reigning yet again. I think it's time for a gamemode lock to prevent the genetically superior supremacy players winning all treaty tournies.

@Mr_Bramboy
I wasnt originally a TR player I would say. I started with sup, then at some point tried TR and played that a lot, then went back to sup again. As TR has its fun things (spamming constantly to keep 200 pop, microing hard with the canons and all your army), it imo also has less strategic depth compared to sup, everytime the same boom, the lagg is more often a problem and balance issues (though current TR patch looks pretty balanced as far as i can say, its impossible with either sup or tr to balance 100% anyway). So thats why I went back to sup again after.Mr_Bramboy wrote:notification

To be fair, the treaty patch was more aimed to balance team mode than 1vs1, since most games are teamgames in our community. 1vs1's are actually really rare. Im still a bit sad though that in serious/competitive treaty games you still have to pick the standard civs like ger, france, port, brit. I would really like to see a patch where tad/twc civs are actually as strong as these civs without standardizing any of the civs.

The Treaty Patch's extreme excess of changes unavoidably makes for extreme uncertainty as to the state of balance (on top of extreme standardization of the game) – as much is certain. Accordingly, it is impossible to determine the veracity of your claim.Hazza54321 wrote:The treaty patch is more balanced for supremacy than ep for team EleGiggle
Congrat's to both teams for making it this far!

Re: Ajiv and Ramex19 vs Gichtenlord and Foire421 Semi finals
The treaty patch team took a very different approach to balancing than the EP team. Our approach had its own issues, and we ended up going back on quite a few changes (because we did make an excessive amount of changes). However, the result is that treaty is a lot more balanced on the patch than it is on RE (the patch was a success in this regard), and there is no point in discussing it further. Let's not discuss the balance state of either EP or RE in tournament record game threads.
