Should Cree CDB be able to dance at the firepit?

Currently CDB trained at the native Cree trading post (on maps like Hudson Bay / Sag) cannot dance at the firepit (they can however build firepits)

I discovered this playing my tiny FFA scenario on the Escape stream. It's probably not overly important but this is also the case in ordinary supremacy too.

It seems like this is a bug or an oversight and I think EP should fix this. Wanted to take the temperature of the community though and see what people thing

Nah, same as CDB from treasures or Team Settler Wagons can’t dance on the fire pit.

I assume it's due to the fact they just don't have an animation for dancing

I think they should be able to dance since cree cdb, team settlers, etc will convert to the ways of India and Japan (no hunting/eating livestock). If they don't dance then they should be able to act differently than Japanese/Indian vills.

it doesn't really make sense for them not to be able to dance, assuming that you could put other European settler on the fire pit; it's most likely an oversight from devs

They should be able, but it should not give any extra VS to the fire pit just because they are CDB. So there might still be no reason to do it mostly

I think the regular euro vills can dance because the campaign, but never cdb or settler wagons

It might be a cool incentive to allow treasure CDB to be 1.25 at the pit, more reason to grab a cree tp, more possibility from that treasure, tho it might break Aztec a little bit with approx 44% attack dance potential

I think the more relevant quesiton is why the F warrior priests don't start dancing when rallied to the pit from a building (including pit itself) while vills do

You've been living in a society with no women for 14 years (okay, once in a while they "rescue" a girl from a tree).

Now you think it's a genious idea to allow them to go discos without any bouncers or police? Harassment statistics are going to rocket.
Terrible idea.

Its the civ design. Warrior Priests are serious dudes, not party freak like their vills. So you've to manually force them to dance. :maniac:

If we fix that, we need to fix all the other bugs regarding vils. For example, free vils/otto consulate vils can't build tcs or wonders. It's arguably bad design, but pretty much irrelevant in terms of gameplay imo. Would be a quality of life improvement I guess, I don't mind either way

Doesn't matter, they're there to dance and not fight. If they were meant be fighting only they would be the worst unit in the game
